The program includes Coptic churches, the oldest mosque in Egypt, a synagogue, the famous pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, the Museum, and a cruise on the Nile.
Although you’ll only see the Amr Ibn El As Mosque and the Abram Ibn Azr Synagogue from the outside,
you’ll be able to visit Coptic churches, including the Suspended Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary
– and the Church of St. Sergius inside. The church of St. Sergius is the place where the Holy Family stayed at during their time in Egypt. You will see the crypt where they were in.
The Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square houses over 1,700 artifacts from Tutankhamun’s Tomb, including the pharaoh’s golden mask.
After visiting the Egyptian Museum, you will go to the pyramids of Giza, as well as the Sphinx. You will be able to stand right next to them and feel the spirit of ancient Egypt. If you are interested in entering the pyramids, please discuss this with your guide. It is available for an additional fee according to the on-site price list.
In between visiting Old Cairo and the Pyramids and Museum, we will take you for lunch included in the tour price. Drinks during lunch are charged extra. During the trip you will also be able to visit a papyrus museum and a perfumery.
